WELCOME TO THE KUDU CANTER

Mark your calendars for the Kudu Canter Trail Run on the 19th and 20th of October, set in the beautiful Northern Drakensberg, halfway between Durban and Johannesburg. Organized by Tam and Ting with support from family and the local community, this two-day event offers scenic trail routes around Spionkop Dam, along with fun festivities for the whole family. Walkers are welcome to explore the picturesque paths, and adventurous participants can opt for a safe 300-meter swim in the dam on both days.

This farm-friendly event features a supervised kids’ zone, allowing families to fully enjoy the experience. After Day 1, you can fish, bike, swim, birdwatch, or relax in the race village. Free camping with stunning dam views is available, complete with hot showers and clean amenities, with tent rentals if needed.

 recommends One for the books! Loved every moment of the Kudu Canter 2022. Ting & Tam outdid themselves with an amazing, friendly, relaxed and family-orientated event. Awesome (well-marked) trails, views for days, great food and fun for the kids. A highlight was the kiddies Duiker dash – kids were treated to a great trail experience with much fanfare!  recommends Kudu Canter was an exceptionally well run family event.  Runners were presented with trail runs through beautiful paths on the farm on both Saturday and Sunday.  Children enjoyed a jumping castle, slip n slide, a fun run, Halloween party, a petting zoo and swimming in Spionkop Dam.  On the social side there was great catering, bar service, coffee station and a real highlight was Black Whiskey providing live  music in the evening.  Great fun was had by all and this is a must for any trail runners 2023 calendar.
